Service Description

I live alone in my 3 storey terrace, I have rear lane access to get pets in & out. I only work part time, so I have a lot of spare time on my hand & I live across the road from Alexandria park, good for dogs. I don't allow pets in my house, except for caged pets like birds or fish in a tank. no cats. dogs must stay in the backyard, which is very secure & has a large covered area in case of rain. happy to have dogs overnight or longer periods, including birds & or other pets that need care on a long term basis, but no cats. I'm allergic to pet hairs & that's why I can't allow cats or dogs in the house. outside is ok, because lots of fresh air. your pet will get more attention than it normally receives, because I have plenty of spare time & that's why I charge premium prices. happy to care for pet on my premises or pet owners premises.

Where will you walk my dog? Please tell us about the nearby parks.

I will use my local park, Alexandria park & sometimes I will also go to Sydney park near st peters, but most using my local park, which is huge & lots of dog owners use it. great social place for dogs & carers.

What information do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?

are they friendly with other adults, kids & dogs. because most dog owners take dogs of the leash in our park & I have to be 100% satisfied that the dog I'm caring for is friendly enough to be let off the leash, or can stay on the leash but will not go crazy when he/she sees another pet.

What is the estimated time that you will spend with my pet each day?

I will take the dog for 2 walks in the park, morning & afternoon, for a period between 30-60mins each time during winter. 3 walks during summer time, late night walk included during summer time. because I work from home part time & live alone, the dog will also have me check on him/her at regular hourly intervals for the first 48hrs to settle in & every 3 hrs after the settlement period. overall about between 3hrs-5hrs of quality one on one time each day.
