Hi! I'm a 28-year-old postgraduate student, currently studying my Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Canberra. I completed my undergraduate studies at ANU, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology.
I have always loved animals, and have a passion for the natural sciences, which is what lead to my undergraduate studies in Zoology. Specialising in animal behaviour and ecology has contributed to a greater understanding and appreciation of how and why animals (including our pets) do the things they do. As part of my studies, I've cared for everything from household pets to large farm animals and loved every minute of working with both.
I offer in-house pet care as well as pet care in my own home. I have looked after almost any animal you can think of - no pet is off-limits! As part of my zoology degree, I was also versed in administering medications and injections to small house and farm animals, and have put this knowledge into practice during past petsits. I have a large, fully enclosed garden and am happy to let house pets run free indoors, sleep on my bed, etc. I love nothing more than to snuggle up to a furry friend while studying or watching a movie, so if you're pet is house-trained, they are beyond welcome to join me on the couch :)
Looking forward to meeting you and your furry/woolly/hairy companion!...
