Thank you for considering us to care for your fur babies (and/ or home)!
I am a 34 year old veterinarian who works three days a week at a clinic in Sydney's North-West whilst Tyson (my husband) is a 35 year old professional who works from home and together we can keep your pets company and take the dogs for walks as much as you do. Tyson and I both grew up with cats and dogs and being a vet, I have had experience minding and caring for cats, dogs, chickens, goats, cows, rabbits, mice, guinea pigs and even the occasional snake.
We are a quiet, non-smoking couple and enjoy spending our free time and weekends outside, going bush walking, doing yoga and running. To minimise the disruption to your pets we will do our best to maintain your daily routine - if you feed the dogs twice a day, do a morning walk, or evening walk (or perhaps both) then this is the pattern we will follow. If there is a specific place you like to take your dog to each day, we will ensure that we take them to the same spot.
If your pet requires medication or has an special needs, especially if they are elderly, please be assured that he or she will be in excellent hands. Spotting the difference between a tick or a wart, lameness or an arthritic niggle is what I do for a living and your fur baby will be cared for with the same diligence of my consult room, except he or she will get to cuddle up with us on the couch and be treated like one of the family.
Currently, we are only considering staying at people's house to pet sit and not hosting. One walk of at least 45mins to 1 hour a day is included in the pet sitting fee, and I don't mind clipping nails or squeezing anal glands for free if required as well. ...
