Hello! I am a vet nurse who has lots of experience with all types of animals and obviously my work isn't enough for me, because I can't get enough of being around furry or feathery friends so I love pet sitting as well :-) I also run an animal rescue organisation; my life and career is dedicated towards animal welfare and I feel confident in offering my services as a pet sitter as well.
I live in a big, secure house in Bomaderry, and whilst looking after your pet I allow them to have free reign of the house to give them a more homely-stay. I believe leaving pets in a home environment is great for their mental health and they seem to settle in and blend into the family much better than if they were confined or caged.
Being a vet nurse, I have experience with all types of medication and conditions so I am more than happy to adjust my routine to help your pet feel comfortable and ensure he or she receives the best care.
I also have a designated room for our feline friends- it is a spare bedroom filled with climbing posts, amenities, beds and large windows near the trees to watch the birds and catch the sun. Cats aren't confined to this room but most seem to love hanging out in there at night or when no one is home to give them attention :-)
I also offer dog walking with basic obedience training during the walk- such as sit, stay, come etc. I believe in positive reinforcement training and most pups are willing, happy participants who come home from their walk feeling well-exercised and a little bit more clever :-)
I am unable to look after large dogs for extended stays due to my housing- there are a few holes in the fence and I would not feel comfortable leaving a pet outside unattended.
I own several large small-animal hutches and cages so am able to look after guinea pigs, rats, mice, rabbits and birds- pretty much anything.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask! I look forward to hopefully meeting you and your precious pet soon! ...
