I am originally from the United States but moved to Australia a few years ago and recently completed my Masters of Social Work degree. In the United States I ran my own pet sitting business, and have been looking after beloved pets in Australia for the past 2 years as well! I have one dog back home in the States, who I trained to become a registered therapy animal team with Pet Partners. During this program I learned a lot about animal behaviour and I am able to handle any breed of dog. I also volunteered at my local Animal Humane Society for almost two years in dog adoption, exposing me to a variety of sizes of dogs with different temperaments. I also have one cat and two guinea pigs back in the States, so I am comfortable with a wide range of animals.
I absolutely love animals, but my current living situation does not allow me to have one of my own. Therefore, I would be delighted to care for your pets like they were my own. With my extensive experience caring for animals, both my own and other's, you can be comfortable leaving me in the care of yours. I believe animals should be treated like they are a part of a family, and recognise the importance of high-quality pet care services. Feel free to contact me to see if I am the right fit!
Note: I also work a minimum of 20 hours a week at my day job, so I have limited availability for walking dogs/doing house visits during working hours. I am able to walk dogs on weekday evenings and weekends, and will continue to provide other pet sitting services!...
