About Kellie

My name is Kellie Schaefer and I am currently in school for my Masters degree in Counselling at the University of Queensland. I am 23 years old and moved to Brisbane from the United States in August of 2017 after completing my undergraduate degree. Perhaps one of my hardest goodbyes was to my adorable and affectionate cat Cody who has been a part of my family since I was 10! I have always been an animal lover and have had various pets including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Additionally, I spent my last summer in the States volunteering at the animal shelter where I walked and loved on a variety of dogs as well as cats. I have taken care of neighbors pets both on a daily basis as well as overnight and always received very positive feedback from the families. I absolutely love spending time with animals and would go above and beyond to ensure that each pet received plenty of quality time and attention. Additionally, I enjoy fitness and would be happy to go running with dogs who are on the more energetic side (especially while their family is away.) As a student, I do not have the space to have a pet of my own so I would thoroughly enjoy getting the chance to take part in caring for yours!...
