Our pet services are only available in the Gungahlin area.
We are a couple based in Gungahlin and our goal is to make sure as many pets as possible can stay in their own homes when their families have to be away for work, holidays or emergencies thus minimising their distress. We have years of experience caring for older animals including, kidney, thyroid and arthritis issues and have also volunteered with the RSPCA.
We will happily tailor our services to your pets needs and by negotiation we will also collect mail, put your bins out and water your plants. We offer pet and home care services in our local Gungahlin area. Basic rates are $25 for one visit per day, $22 for a 30 minute day time, dog walk and $45 for two visits per day. A dog walk with a visit is $11. We also have two automatic pet feeders I can loan out for pets that need frequent feeds due to medical conditions.
We can also have inside cats for overnight stays. For shorter time periods cats are usually better at home but if your cat travels well, has medical needs or you are away for a longer time and would like to discuss cat boarding please get in touch. The fee starts at $45 per day and is negotiable depending on specific needs. Sorry doggies we have a rabbit so you are not able to stay with us.
Short term home pet sitting is also an option but we need plenty of notice as we are usually booked out well in advance. Please contact us if you have dates and we will let you know if we are available.
We are both fully vaccinated for Covid 19 and have implemented the following procedures to minimise the spread of Covid19 and help keep us all safe.
1. We will use our own leads for any dog walking.
2. We will use hand sanitiser before and after visits and dog walking.
3. We ask you to tell us if you are unwell or in quarantine so we can assess if we can take your booking.
4. The initial meet and greet for new bookings can be by phone or Zoom if preferred and this will be followed by an in person meeting if the booking goes ahead.
5. Please advise as soon as possible if you are unwell or think you have had a suspected Covid19 contact.
6. We will advise you immediately if we are unwell or have a suspected Covid19 contact.
7. In many circumstances we can arrange contact-less services via backyard access. Eg you can put your dog into the yard to be walked. Please talk to us about options.
