About Laura
Hi, my name is Laura. I am a qualified and registered vet nurse with 6 years in the animal care industry running an in your home pet care servce called Vet Nurse Pet Care. One of my services on offer is pet sitting. Rather then take your beloved furbabies outof the comfort of their own home, I will come to your home, feed and water them, take them for a walk, clean the back yard, look after the basic care of the house and treat them as if they are my own.

I have a certificate III in companion animal services and a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. During my employment and work experience i have had the pleasure of handling a large range of animals including: mice, rabbits, lizards, birds (pelican, owl, magpies), turtles, cats, pigs, chickens, dogs (large & small), kangaroos, sheep, goats & alpaca.
the tasks I have preformed include: grooming, exercising dogs, cleaning kennels, cleaning cattery, assisting in pre-op and post-op procedures, admitting and discharging animals for boarding, exercising dogs, clean kennels, clean cattery, monitor health, provide food and water, grooming, cleaning enclosures, general cleaning duties.

$17 Half hour dog walk one dog
$25 hour dog walk one dog.

$30 standard cat visit up to two cats per day: two visits per day, feeding, watering, clean litter tray, water garden, play etc.
$5 per extra cat per day.
$4 per medication per cat.
Dogs:

$45 standard dog visit, up to two dogs per day: two visits per day, feeding, watering, cleaning toiletings, water garden one walk per day.
$10 per extra dog per day.
$5 per additional walk per day.

Pocket pets:

$27 standard visit one enclosure per day: two visits per day, feeding, watering, cleaning, water garden, play etc.
$7 per extra enclosure per day.

$4 per medication per pocket pet.
Aviaries and fish tanks/ponds:
Daily Rate:
$20 standard visit one enclosure per day: two visits per day, feeding, watering, cleaning, water garden, play etc.
$5 per extra enclosure per day.

Laura has been my saviour in the last few months as my beautiful chocolate labrador gave birth to 7 delightful puppies. She came to the house when they were young little rascals and fed, cleaned up after them and took care of them and of course mum, until they were ready to go to their forever homes. After that Laura continued to take care of Mum and the puppy that we kept from her litter.
I always found Laura to be trustworthy, responsible and very good at her job. I would recommend her to any one who requires someone to look after their pets.
