About Ruth

Hi I'm Ruth and if I was to choose a dog walker or sitter for my beloved pet, I would be looking for someone who is honest, reliable, caring and who loves pets. Well that's me! I'm a dog walker and pet sitter and I just love animals, particularly dogs. I grew up in the UK with our lovely cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and our two big, beautiful, black retrievers.

Me in a nutshell
I loved Australia so much I moved here 19 years ago from the UK and I now live in Mosman with my Aussie husband. We live in an apartment where we are unable to have pets and I really miss having them around. A few years ago, I took redundancy from a long-term role in the media and now my husband and I have our own dog walking and pet sitting business, The Dognamic Duo in Mosman. I am fully qualified in Dog CPR, First Aid and Safety, have police clearance and successfully completed the pet sitters training course.

Dog walking
I previously gained lots of experience working for one of Mosman's most professional and reliable service exercising and socialising all types, shapes and sizes of dogs and adored every minute of it. I have a sound knowledge of all the best doggie walking areas in and around Mosman. I am playful, fun and have lots of energy and you can rest assured that your pets will have fun and be totally loved and cared for. I always have a pocket full of treats and a water bowl at the ready.

Pet sitting
I have many years of experience as a pet sitter for mostly dogs, but also cats, chickens, tortoises and all types of animals really. I will love, cuddle and care for your pets as if they were my own and will take my utmost care while at your home, respect your privacy and space and keep it immaculately clean and tidy, bring in the mail, put out the bins, water plants etc. I can also provide lots of testimonials from previous happy customers.
