I live on the Hawthorn side of Norman Park and would be happy to help with pets in the surrounding suburbs.
I have taken in a blind miniature bull terrier as her owner wasn't able to take care of her properly. She has been blind most of her life and is now about 11yrs old. Walking Possum takes a lot of patience (depending on her mood) but I enjoy watching her quirky ways such as stopping to put her head in the bushes and standing there motionless for a few minutes. Although blind, Possum is very confident and loves other animals (although cats generally aren't as fond of her as she'd like). Search youtube and Facebook for "Blind Dog Possum" to see the videos and page I made for her when I took care of her many years ago (she is now permanently in my care).
If Possum can't come with me to your house then she can stay at home and my housemate will see to her if she needs anything....
