I'm currently a 2nd Year student at the University of Melbourne living on campus (no animals allowed) away from my hometown in Perth.
My whole life I have grown up with two or more dogs, living both in a Wheatbelt farm and out in the hills around Perth. I immensely enjoy dog-walking (I'm also a passionate runner, however my own dog at home - Bonnie - is getting too old to keep up), as well as the comfort animals bring as companions in day to day life.
Looking after animals would help immensely in relieving homesickness, as well as branching out new connections here in Melbourne!
