About Lisa

Before having children, my husband and I liked to travel which meant finding a sitter for our precious cat and dog frequently. Our dog may have coped in a kennel, but our cat was twice rescued prior to coming to us and I knew he was better off being at home with someone to feed him daily and give him the occasional pat when needed. This has led me to pet sitting, as I want to offer the same type of service locally to those who don't want their furry loved ones to be locked in a cage while they are away, but know they'll be happy at home as long as they are fed, given attention and are comfortable (and if a dog, taken for a walk as needed). I have been pet sitting for years as return favours with neighbours and relatives and now being a stay at home mum I have more time to look after other peoples pets.

I am passionate about all types of animals, I grew up in the country with cats, dogs, fish, horses, rabbits, birds, cows, chickens etc and have always loved animals like they were my children. These days I have a toddler, cat and dog to love and cherish. I currently don't work therefore have plenty of time to spend with your pets while you are away.
