As long as I can remember I have been fond of animals. A few years ago I began pet sitting for my parents whenever they went on vacation, and shortly after that my pet sitting extended to other family and close friends. I have a deep love for our own cats (both past and present), and believe that every animal is deserving of the same kind of love. I am well-versed in cat behaviour, as I currently live with three cats, Brownie, Kit and Misty (previously more). I have been called a 'cat whisperer' by family and friends who have seen how well I can get along with any cat I meet, and have been told I have an animal-loving 'vibe' that animals can sense when I meet them. I'd love to extend my pet sitting capacity beyond just family and friends to be able to share my love with different pets, as I believe each animal has their own personality that makes them fun to be around.

In my pet services, I include house visits, house stays, and dog walking. With house visits I would spend at least 2-3 hours at a time to keep the pet(s) company, play with them, tend to litter (if required) and make sure they are fed and have adequate water. If I stay at a house I would ensure they are comfortable with me there and (more likely in the case of cats) give them some time to warm up to me before fully engaging with them. I am capable of basic grooming tasks like brushing and flea treatment (eg. Revolution drops). I'm also capable of administering medication in various forms - I've given insulin injections to our old cat Pumpkin, and syringed medication to our other old cat Mishky (both have since passed from old age).

There are no restrictions on pet numbers in house visits or stays, or dog size (I am especially fond of large dogs). I will walk any sized dog and would tailor the walk (duration, route, etc.) to suit their needs. I would walk a maximum of 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at one time for safety reasons....
