Hi everyone!
I'm Matt and I just finished my third year at Sydney University studying Animal and Veterinary Bioscience. I was the President of the Veterinary Society and ambassador of the Centre of Veterinary Education and now the Vice President of the Camden Farms and Vet Revue Society. I have a passion to lead and give anyone and everyone the best experience possible.
I have worked at Menai Animal Hospital since February 2014 as a Vet Nurse which has improved my knowledge of animal behaviour and handling, as well as communication with clients. My other jobs include coaching both school kids and teenagers cricket, soccer, football and netball and more recently the Special Olympic Cricket Team.
I love my animals large to small and fury to fluffy! Through university I have worked with production animals and livestock, and as a Vet Nurse I have worked frequently with cats, dogs, rabbits and birds. I received a Young Leaders scholarship from Bendigo Bank which allowed me to work at an Animal orphange in Africa; fostering cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, lions and leopards.
I have represented NSW in Cricket, Cross Country, Volleyball and Baseball so I'm no stranger to exercise and love a good run around with any animal!
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to contact me :)...
