About Gillian

I have always had an affinity with animals- no matter if they are hairy, scaly or feathered, I care about them and I one day hoped that I could work in some field where animals would be my main concern. It is only in recent times that I have been able to pursue my dream and by joining with Mad Paws, I now have the freedom to work with animals in the world of pet sitting which is exciting.
My husband, Gary and I have always had dogs, big and small- at least two at a time- and we now have a toy poodle, Angus and an adopted pet chihuahua, Rocky. Our daughter and son have cats and we care for them too. In years past I have bonded deeply with rats and even pet fish and I fully understand that birds and reptiles need love too.
My main aim is to provide peace of mind so that you can feel confident that, should you need to leave your pet behind for a business trip or holiday or just for the day, it will be lovingly cared for......I am pet-focused :)
