About Bridie

Hi, my name is Bridie
I am a stay at home mum to 2 cats, 1 border collie, and a human child. I have always loved animals - I grew up on a big farm with all kinds of animals and I love them all!

I have an average sized backyard that is securely fenced in and safe for dogs of all sizes to play in. I am happy for your pets to hang out in our backyard, relax in the dog kennel/spare beds in our garage, or relaxing inside under the air conditioner/heater. Your pet will be welcome inside our house as much as he/she desires. Your pets will always have mental stimulation; whether that is in the form of a nice walk, playing with my pets, or with any of the many toys we have lying around. I hope is that every pet that stays is happy to be here and looks forward to seeing me again, my house should feel like theirs.

I am located in Greenvale, which is only a 15 minute drive from Melbourne Airport, which is convenient for dropping your pet off before a work trip or before setting off on your next holiday. For an extra fee I am also happy to come to you and pick your pet up so you don't need to stress about missing your flight.

All pets are welcome to come and stay at my house. I have a dog and two cats - all of which are animal friendly - but if you have a timid dog/cat or a smaller pet that may be more relaxed in their own home I am very happy to come and visit them. The less stress I can cause an animal the better! I am even happy to set up an area so your pet can stay with us but can stay apart from my pets - whatever works best for you. I am also not intimidated by any animals so if you have a pet with a temper or anxiety I am here to help!

What do I offer?

Pet Hosting:
This service is offered is at my house and available for all pets; but if your pet is not good with other pets or small children please refer to pet visiting.

Pet Visiting:
This service is where I will visit your pet within your own home. Visits usually last between 30-45 minutes per animal. While I am there I will feed your pets, provide clean water, clean litter trays, and clean any pet related messes. I will also spend time doing the most important thing - loving your pet. This includes countless hugs, kisses, and as many ball throws/games of tug-a-war your pet desires. If you need me to stay longer I am happy to discuss that with you further. I am happy to care for dogs/cat/birds/rabbits/turtles/fish/chickens/pigs/cattle and more!
If you need your dog taken for a walk as well then there is an additional fee charged.

Pet Pick Up/Drop Off:
I am happy to pick your pet up/drop pet off. I have seat belts and harnesses for larger dogs, and carriers for smaller dogs or cats. This is an extra fee but times are flexible and can be discussed beforehand.

I will ensure to send you photos and texts on how your pet is doing. I will post the best photos of your pet on my MadPaws page - I will also post photos of your beloved pet on my Instagram page @madpawsbridie Come and follow me - I will follow you back and tag you pet in my photos!
