I am a uni student studying a Bachelor of animal and veterinary biosciences, and I have had pets large and small for my whole life.
I have had years of experience with small and large animals alike, such as bunnies, dogs, cats, horses and reptiles! I currently volunteer as a keeper (primarily birds and mammals) at a well-known mobile zoo which has given me a lot of experience with native and exotic animals, and paired with my degree I have a high level of knowledge about animal behaviour and care. I have a particularly strong interest in wildlife and native animals, but cherish all pets and think they're all amazing.
- I hold a basic wildlife license and am comfortable feeding and caring for snakes and other reptiles/exotic animals.
- I have 10 + years of equine and large animal skills, including feeding, rugging, riding and basic first aid such as vaccinations, deworming and wound treatment.
I am passionate about all animals and maintain that they all deserve only the best of care, understanding the needs for each animal will be different to the next.
I live in Whittlesea and currently own a black Labrador named Hurley, a beautiful cat Archie, 2x carpet pythons, Atlas and Daisy, and a beautiful Appaloosa x Arabian gelding named Jester - I cherish my animals and they are all superbly looked after and loved, and I extend this level of care to your furry friends. Although I am unable to offer boarding at my own home due to the current menagerie, I am more than happy to travel within reason.
