About Joshua

Hi there! My name is Josh and I'm from dog-mad UK. I absolutely love cats and dogs and have been lucky to have them consistently in my life since I was a baby. I grew up surrounded by large breeds such as Golden Retrievers and Old English Sheepdogs, so I am experienced at handling and being around bigger dogs. I rescued a Dorkie while in Taiwan and rehomed her in the UK, so I'm used to small dogs too!

Unfortunately my current home in Melbourne doesn't allow pets, and I am missing having one around so much! I know very well how nervous it can be to leave your dog or cat with a stranger, so I endeavour to stay in contact and listen well to owners' instructions about their pets.

I can also offer extra services for free while looking after your furbaby. I am happy to bathe pets, clip dogs' nails and brush their teeth. My dorkie Nissa was very sick when we got her so I'm very experienced administering medicine of all types (and know a few tricks to boot!) I also trained my dog Nissa from scratch even though she was five years old when I rescued her, so I can competently uphold any training regimens you have in place. I am experienced dealing with separation anxiety too and other behavioural issues.
