Hi, my name is Monique or Nik.

I am fully committed to providing the best care and attention for your little one. Every doggo I walk or watch is treated as part of the family and I want them to feel as good as they can in my care.. I often walk around the block due to being a bit of a gym fan, so there will be many walks and fun times. When your dog is with me it will receive plenty of love, attention, support, and food for it to feel like its the most popular dog around town. I will provide you with photos as much as you need and video chats will also be provided. I visit dog parks and dog cafes for many friendly dog visits and socializing.

I'm currently an Animal Studies student at TAFE SA and plan to do a few grooming courses and a course in Self-Care and Wellbeing in the Animal Care and Veterinary Industries. I have completed a few months at a Clinic where I assisted with animal care hygiene routines after surgeries, watched a few surgeries performed, assisted with bandage care, helped washed/groomed, completed clean up, assisted with meal management. And provided information on companion animals, products and services. I am fully aware of animal behaviors and what they mean and know what to do.

I've always grown up with a pet by my side and knew back as a child that pets are what I love more than anything. Dogs, in particular, have been an amazing support base for me in my younger life. They assisted with mental health and were always a great friend to lean on in hard times.

Over the years, friends and family have entrusted their precious pets in my care because they trusted my abilities and knew that I would treat their pets as I would my own. Spending my days with cats and dogs is the ultimate job. Honestly, who can resist waggs and purrs, wet kisses and lap naps? Certainly not me. Pet sitting and dog walking is my favorite thing to do and makes me incredibly happy.
