About Jessica

Hello! I am so looking forward to getting to know your gorgeous pets!

I have always been an animal lover, having dogs growing up and am now a Fur-Mum of my own rescue pup, a divine 6-year-old staffy named Kesha (who is just a wee bit spoiled :D ). She and I have just been approved as a pet therapy team and can't wait to start visiting those in our area who need a little bit of extra doggy love in their lives!

Before moving back home to the Illawarra, I volunteered at the RSPCA shelter in the ACT for a number of years and experienced many different types of animals and was involved in their care.

In the past, I have owned birds, guinea pigs and dogs and loved each and every one of them.

A bit about myself - I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Wollongong Uni, following my dream to become a neonatal nurse. In my past life I was a special education teacher and loved every single minute of it but nursing was calling and I decided to answer :)

I believe that pets truly are part of the family and you will feel comfortable and happy leaving your pets in my care. There will always be an extra snuggle and kiss available and if we arrange it prior, maybe a walk with Kesha and I, some excursions out and about or just a few extra treats!!
