Hi! We are Mateo and Jimena, originally from Uruguay and living in Sydney for the past three years.

Mateo works in IT and Jimena works for an insurance company. We both love animals and have been doing pet sitting for several years while travelling and living abroad.

We actually started doing pet sitting because we missed our dog Nano, our Golden Retriever, who stayed back home in Uruguay. Spending time with other people’s pets quickly became something we truly enjoy.

We have completed multiple house and pet sits around the world, including Europe and South America. In Italy we looked after two cats, and we have excellent references from those experiences that we’d be happy to share.

Since moving to Sydney, we have done several pet sits through TrustedHousesitters. We have looked after Zeus, a husky, and Mojo and Stella, two border collies. Stella was 13 years old and recovering from surgery, so we are also comfortable caring for senior pets or pets that need a little extra attention.

We also took care of a mother cat and her newborn kitten in Manly, which was a very special experience. Additionally, we have looked after Peggy, a cavoodle from Fairlight, multiple times, building a great relationship with both Peggy and her owners.

More recently, we took care of Jager, a Weimaraner in Alexandria.

We currently live in Alexandria and are also available for dog walking. We often go for walks in the mornings or after work and would be happy to bring your dog along with us.

We understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and we always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.
