About Rebecca

I am currently in my third year of studying animal science/zoology, hoping to pursue a career as a vet or zoo keeper! I have loved animals since I was a little girl, so I have decided to make them my life and hoping to work with them for as long as I can. I have donated to WWF and other animal organisations, as well as volunteering for some groups in Geelong - I helped the Arctic Rescue Victoria group with a fundraiser late last year.

I have lived with animals for all of my life and currently have a 1 year old husky. She absolutely adores other dogs and cats - very friendly and has never been aggressive. My current house is securely fenced (6-feet tall) and securely gated (so dogs are unable to dig underneath). My resident area has great parks nearby, which I usually take Miska to for walks and has great walking tracks.

I have my own car + licence, in which the car is suited to dogs more than people! I am able to safely secure dogs in my car + a dog bed and toys are included (my vehicle has 2 seats at the front and the other seats have been folded to accompany animals). My location is very close to the dog-friendly Torquay beach, where I regularly take my own dog to for running on the sand and swimming on hot days. I also visit the Salty Dog Cafe and purchase some special treats.
