About Ruth

My name is Ruth and dogs make me incredibly happy. I've been dog sitting for many years for extra income (and because I love dogs!)

Over the years I've had dogs for both short and long term stays at my home. I've had puppies, older dogs, small dogs, big dogs, lots of greyhounds, dogs that require daily medications and dogs that require extra supervision due to medical conditions.

I treat every dog that comes to stay like they are my own and give them lots of love, pats, daily walks and they are allowed on the couch and beds!

I do have my own dog, Axel (the german shepherd pictured) so your pups must be good with other dogs and vaccinated. Axel is a calm, older dog and he is very gentle. He loves puppies, children, small and big dogs. He happily welcomes new dogs into our home and keeps them company (mostly for snoozes).

Our house has a big backyard to play ball in, a overflowing basket of toys, lots of dog treats and lots of comfy places to snooze. We also live very close to a park for walkies and a river and small beach if swimming is your dog's thing.
