Last time I did pet sitting the cat groomed and sleep on me after 30 min of our very first interaction.
I am good at observing the cat to let him/her feel and smell me before trying to be friend.
I am very patient and move slowly around them to make sure they are always at ease.
I don't use perfume or any thing with a strong scent therefore the pet can smell me.
I know how to play, pat a cat and know when to stop playing. I can feed, change the litter, brush your furry creature and make sure he or she has the level of care and attention s/he needs.
I live in Carlton and I am happy to cat sit at cat's home. I've always loved cat especially when they follow me like dogs. Yes, the more affectionate, the better.
I love their need for care and independence; like me, they love sleeping and playing, that's why I can create an almost immediate bond!
In Australia, my first catsitting was when I was house minding, the cat would sleep on the bed where I was sleeping, it was in Thornbury.
Last time I cat sitted was 2 weeks ago in Balaclava and I stayed over for a night and the cat slept on the Doona on my tummy. The nicest thing is when you come back and visit the cat again, and she recognized me.
I especially love cuddly cats. And I am happy to take care of yours and follow your specific diets requirements if any.
With love, Gina
ps: if you have kittens, it is the icing on the cake to me...
