Hi, I’m Emma!

After fostering over 40 animals (cats & dogs). My partner and I decided to create The Meow Room — a cozy, stress-free, cage-free haven designed especially for cats. 🐾

We have dogs and a cat of our own, but your cat will be completely separate. The Meow Room is located behind two doors, a corridor, and a baby gate, guaranteeing safety, privacy, and peace for your furry friend.

My partner works at an animal hospital and is also studying a Certificate II in Animal Care to become a vet nurse, so your kitty will be in experienced, knowledgeable hands. I only work part-time (a few hours, a few days a week), which means your cat will get plenty of company, love, and attention throughout their stay.

We understand how stressful traditional catteries can be — small cages, constant noise, and the presence of other animals can make many cats anxious. That’s why we’ve designed The Meow Room to be completely calm and comfortable. Your cat will enjoy their own private 3m x 3m room, away from other pets, where they can relax, nap, play, and feel safe.

We only host one cat (or one cat family) at a time, ensuring your furry friend gets our full attention and a truly stress-free experience. There are no cages, no crowded spaces, and no overwhelming noises — just a quiet, homely retreat designed with your cat’s comfort in mind.

We spend plenty of time in the room ourselves, reading or studying, so your cat always has company if they want it — whether that’s cuddles, playtime, or simply someone to snooze next to. We’ll also follow their normal routines and send you regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing they’re happy and comfortable.
