We are lifelong cat lovers that will look after your cat like they are our own. One of us is at home every day so your cat will have plenty of company and attention.
We live in a large sunny apartment with plenty of comfortable spaces for naps in every room. Your cat will have full run of our apartment including supervised access to a large balcony. We also provide daily updates and photos so you can relax and know that your cat is being well cared for. 
The FAQs below provide some more information on what to expect for your cat’s stay and the Mad Paws booking process.

🐈🐈 Will my cat(s) be the only one(s) staying with you? 🐈🐈
Yes, we only ever take one booking at a time and we have no pets of our own so your cat(s) will feel safe and comfortable in our home. We are happy to care for up to two cats only when they are from the same household and are comfortable with each other. 


🐈🐈 What do I need to bring for my cats stay? 🐈🐈
You will need to bring all your cats food and any treats for their entire stay. 
We have basic litter trays and clay litter available but if your cat prefers a different type of litter or needs to use a special litter tray you will need to bring these.
You can also bring along any blankets, toys, bowls or scratching poles that you think would help your cat to settle in and be comfortable.  We also have all these things available if your cat is comfortable to use ours.


🐈🐈 How does the booking process work? 🐈🐈
All bookings, payments and communications are done through Mad Paws, they have a website and a mobile app.
Once you pick your dates and complete the booking enquiry, we will be in contact to organise a ‘meet and greet’. If you have two cats make sure to include them both on the booking enquiry. 
Following the ‘meet and greet’ we will approve the booking, which enables the booking to be paid. Payment blocks out our calendar and confirms your booking with us. The payment is held by Mad Paws until after your booking has been completed.
During your cat’s stay we will send you updates and lots of cute photos of your cat for you to enjoy.


🐈🐈 What is involved in a meet and greet? 🐈🐈
We will invite you to come and visit us at our place, or if you prefer we can come to visit you. If you come to visit us you are welcome to bring your cat if we don’t already have another cat staying with us. But there is no need to bring your cat if this would be too stressful.
When you visit, you will be able to see where your cat will be staying and we can discuss your cat’s preferences and any special needs. We will ask you to complete the Mad Paws meet and greet form which includes contact details, veterinary details, drop off, pick up and feeding details. 
After the meet and greet we will approve the booking on the Mad Paws platform and this will enable payment. Once payment is made this will block out our calendar and confirm your booking with us. 


🐈🐈 What if my cat is shy or has special needs? 🐈🐈 
We have had lots of experience caring for cats that are shy or nervous and we are happy to discuss and accommodate special care needs. 
We find that most cats start out a little nervous in a new environment, but they tend to settle in comfortably within the first day or two. We have quiet cat safe spaces for them to hang out until they get comfortable. 
Once they start to explore they will find many comfortable sleeping spots and they can enjoy the view from our large floor to ceiling sun drenched windows. The birds that fly past or rest on our balcony rail grab the attention of almost every cat 😸
