About Kath

Hi there community! I am an experienced house and pet sitter in her 30s who loves to write, cook, eat, adventure and meet new people.

I teach online. which means I'm often home during the day to give your animals some love and keep the house safe and looked-after. I am a bubbly, caring, responsible non-smoker. I am also a (terrible) runner, so if you happen to have an active dog I will happily bring them with me for a workout :)

For me, pets are so therapeutic and a welcome reminder of how to simplify life; looking after others' while I can't yet commit to adopting my own has had a really positive impact on me . Housesitting has also provided me invaluable opportunities to experience new places from a local's perspective and enjoy some furry company at the same time. I've had some incredible experiences so far in my 5 year house sitting journey, and have beautiful memories of the creatures big and small that I've befriended.

I've looked after various dogs, cats of all persuasions and temperaments, chickens and fish. I have ample experience with rescue dogs/cats that are anxious, timid or have behavioural problems. I can also administer oral medications where needed. Very happy to care for different kinds of animals if you have them, as long as clear instruction is provided.
