I've many years experience with rescue groups having fostered dogs and cats including those with special needs. This involves offering the most welcoming home with gentle rehabilitation and has afforded me many skills throughout the experience.
I have lovely pets of my own and when people meet them, they tend to comment that they are a credit to their owner :)...I of course blush.
I listen and observe my pets needs whilst also assisting them to learn boundaries. All animals are respected and celebrated in my house to live as comfortably as possible and whilst also being stimulated as they need, eg: games, scent trail, light training, exercise etc.
Everyone can choose the comfiest place they like to sleep and I love to snap pics of their enjoyment to share with owners.
My place is super secure with tall locked fences, undercover areas outside, pool and nice safe flat grass to run around on.
I am close to some lovely parks for walks/runs.
I am super comfortable administering medication, including intravenous and have had to do this many times with other animals, including my own horse.
If your pet loves a supervised swim, we have a pool they can play in with us.
Lots of toys and stimulating things to make their stay fun, or just comfy places to chill out including cooling mats or seperate areas.
Very comfortable with lead walking and light training using gentle leader and/or similar.
