Hi we’re Elise and Tom! 

We just bought our first home, in the quaint suburb of Berridale, the gateway to the Snowy Mountains! Located just 20mins from Jindabyne. 

Our new house has a massive yard, and we’ve got a border collie x kelpie who would love to share it with some other furry friends.  

A bit about me (Elise)….I worked as a marine animal trainer for 8 years until I moved down to the snow! I’ve learnt that dogs are pretty much seals of the land, so I’ve been able to use my animal training experience and apply that to being the best dog mum I can be.  I work full time but get a few days off, so I would love to work around that and help out fellow dog parents that may want to go skiing for the day or explore the Kosciuszko National Park where dogs aren’t allowed. If you’d like to book for pet hosting, I’ll let you know if I have work over any of those days and if your dog won’t mind hanging out with mine during the day, we can proceed with a booking.  I promise to give your pooch plenty of love and attention the second I get home! 

About our house…we have a generous sized block with a lot of backyard, so there’s plenty of room for play! The back deck is a favourite sunbaking spot of my dog.
The yard is fully fenced, however the side fences aren’t overly tall (the height of a pool fence) so if you’ve got an escape artist, please let us know so we can make sure we keep eyes on them in the yard.  If you require pet hosting, my dog sleeps inside at night so yours would too, no one gets left out in the cold here!

About Scout…she’s a desexed 7 year old female border collie x kelpie. She is ridiculously ball-obsessed, a huge people dog, and can be standoffish upon first meeting other dogs. She warms up quite quickly and has no problems in telling boisterous dogs to get out of her face. She loves having another dog to go on a walk with and we’ve discovered some pretty awesome ones around here, including off leash areas if you’re comfortable with me having your dog off leash!
