About Alicia

Hi, my name is Alicia and I am a reliable, enthusiastic and trustworthy person that would love to have the pleasure of looking after your loved one!
I am in the Eastern suburbs in the Box Hill/Doncaster area and I am available for Pethosting, Dog walking/running/playing, basic training and visits. If there are any extra requirements during those stays such as administering medication ECT. my utmost will be done to accommodate those needs.
When i have pet's stay with me i like to keep within their same routine that is kept at home as much as possible. Upon any dog's arrival i take them for an introductory walk or run and play to ease any nervous energy that they may have being in a new and different environment. Each morning and if I am to head out and upon my return home i make sure to take the visiting pooch outside for some fun, throwing the ball or playing tug of war. This again, eases any possible anxiety in missing their owner that they may have and keeps them happy and content.
I like to take any visiting pooch out as much as possible and keep them mentally stimulated. Keeping their tails wagging is my aim!. If they are quieter or older dog's that prefer to be inside, they will be more than comfortable in my lounge room sitting by the warmth of the fire during the winter or inside with the air-conditioning during the summer.
When cat's come to visit i make sure the house is quiet so it is a calm environment for them. I have two cat scratches, one being 7ft high that most of my visiting cats like to sleep on top of and watch the going's on. If they like to play i try to incorporate that into their stay as much as possible also.
I have had experience with not just my own many and varied pet's throughout my life but with other peoples also, having done Pethosting for over 22 years. From Pethosting, training and dog walking and even taking on one Malteser, Benji when he couldn't be taken on to his next home.
I have taken on a lost, starving stray without a home bringing her up to be a happy, very healthy feline, with a home!.
I find it so rewarding to see the significant changes that can be made in one when just a little effort and lots of love is given over time.
The welfare of animals is important to me because I believe they feel just as much as we do! They need exercise just as much as we do too!
If they get over excited when you come home it is likely that they feel as much when you leave. I'd like to be there to help you AND them lead less stressful lives!

Drop-off and pickup is available from 9am-12pm.
If the pet does need to stay thereafter 12pm it is considered as Day Care. I am more than happy to work in with your required times as much as possible....
