I run Featherheads Bird Rescue which specialises in helping rehome unwanted birds. I have bird husbandry experience of over 25 years and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology. 

I am patient with birds, allowing them to make the first move and not making them feel uncomfortable in a new environment. 

My experience with birds ranges from budgies to cockatoos, and I am able to look after all species apart from poultry.

I have spare aviaries and an enclosed porch for outside time that's safe from predators.

I have good instincts that pick up when your bird isn't feeling well, and supportive care facilities.

I work from home two days a week so your bird will have some human company time, and the chance to chatter to some of our residents.
