I am studying veterinary science at the University of Queensland, and I am staying in Brisbane over the summer break. I love animals and have heaps of spare time so I decided to sign up as a pet-sitter so that I could stay occupied and spend time with animals. If my many years of experience has not convinced you enough on why I would be the amazing pet-sitter that your pets would love, then I must let you know that over the past year, one of my veterinary science courses was a year long course that was about animal handling and covered the essentials of the basic animal handling of not only the more popular animals which are your cats and dogs, but also sheep, cattle, horses, pigs, small animals (eg; rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits) and exotic animals (birds, lizards and snakes).
I am mainly doing this [being a pet-sitter] out of my love for animals, however, I do also need to earn some money to pay for some of my expenses. So therefore I have decided to charge minimal rates and I still open to negotiations for price reductions, and similarly, I would deeply appreciate any generous tips of any amount.
Thank you for taking the time to read my summary, and I hope that you would entrust me with the care of your pets....
