About Teri
I love animals and have looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and cattle.
I have been petsitting for 8 years and am comfortable giving a range of medications. Some owners think I'm a cat whisperer. I grew up with 3 cats and a golden retriever cross. I just try to listen to what pets want, whether it's things like cuddles, space, quiet, play, exercise or to shadow me.
Three people I've petsit for want me to adopt their pets if they move overseas.
Lifestyle:
I don't smoke or drink. I'm a quiet person. My hobbies include boardgames, hiking, learning to dance, and exploring Victoria. I have done a lot of volunteering.
I haven't got pets yet, as I want to travel, so I petsit to get some pet cuddles and to save money for travel.
Training:
- Wildlife Rescuer for Wildlife Victoria
- Marine Mammal Medic with Project Jonah in New Zealand
- Introduction to Animal Studies Short Course 2021
- Civil Defence training, for response to disasters like the Christchurch earthquakes. I am calm and focussed when the situation calls for it.
House Visits:
Every visit, (if they want it) I will give your pets cuddles and play. I'll happily spend all day cuddling and playing with animals.
I am taking responsibility for your pets. If I need to, I will put them ahead of anything else in my life.
Note that visits on holidays are an extra $20.

Teri was fantastic. Easy going and you can tell she has a real soft spot for animals. Lovely to deal with, always responded and asked any necessary questions.
