Hi there - I grew up on a dairy farm in NZ, where we had a plethora of pets - dogs, cats, sheep, goats, rabbits, fish, frogs, mice - everything. When I moved to the city and couldn't have pets in the apartment, I would regularly volunteer at the RSPCA to walk dogs and clean out the kitten cages. I later spent a few years in Canada and looked after an awesome snake and a friendly gecko - and had the amazing opportunity to foster a number of kittens over a couple of years. When I moved to Melbourne in 2014, I rescued my 6 y/o cat Willow, and she's had the run of the house and my heart ever since.
Being an anxious cat, she hates her cage, the car and being in a cattery. She also has an eye condition that gets worse with stress. And I realised, there must be lots of pet owners who don't want to put their furry friend into a cattery or kennel, but need someone to pop over to check on them, or stay the night to keep them company.
That's where I come in - I'm available in the evenings, weekends and holidays to spend some time and cuddles with your pets, make sure they're fed, watered, walked, cleaned, healthy and happy.
I'm an EA who works in a corporate company in the CBD, I have my own car, I love gardening, yoga, walking, spending time with friends and finding new places in Melbourne to enjoy.
