My name is Ruby! I’m based on the Sunshine Coast and currently work in a hybrid role, with the majority of my working week spent from home. This gives me plenty of flexibility and means I’m around throughout the day to keep your pets company, give them lots of attention and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.

I’ve always been an animal lover and previously had a cat and dog of my own when I lived on the Gold Coast. After I started travelling more, having my own pet wasn’t practical, so house and pet sitting feels like the perfect way for me to still enjoy having animals around while helping others feel comfortable knowing their pets are being well looked after.

I also have experience with a range of different pets, breeds and care arrangements. I’ve provided dog walking, overnight house and pet sitting and drop-in pet visits, caring for breeds including Beagles, Staffies, Sausgae Dogs, Pomeranian's, Huskies and Bulldogs. I also have experience pet sitting for cats, including domestic shorthair, Bengal and Ragdolls. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels and routines, whether that means long walks and playtime or simply lots of company and cuddles.

I’m clean, tidy, respectful and responsible and I’d treat your home as if it were my own. Because I work from home most days, I can spend plenty of time with your pets rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m happy to follow their usual routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, medications or any other instructions you have.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors, going to the beach, camping and travelling, so I’m also very happy looking after active pets who enjoy getting out for walks and adventures.

I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after both your home and your pets, and I’m more than happy to provide regular photos and updates while you’re away. 🐾❤️
