Hello, I’m Christine — a lifelong animal lover with many years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, especially small and toy breeds. Animals have always been a big part of my life, which is why I volunteer at my local zoo and often choose animal‑focused travel, including African safaris. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I genuinely enjoy.
I live in a quiet, centrally located townhouse in Victoria Park with my friendly 10‑kg cavoodle, Roxie. She’s affectionate, calm, and loves gentle company, so having another small dog around is a lovely experience for both of us. My home has two securely gated courtyards — front and back — giving dogs safe outdoor space to explore and relax.
There is always someone home, as my adult daughter works from home full‑time. This means your dog will have companionship, supervision, and a peaceful environment throughout the day.
I take Roxie for a daily walk, and we’re lucky to be close to local dog parks and the river, which gives visiting dogs plenty of opportunities for fresh air, sniffing, and gentle exercise.
When it comes to sleeping arrangements, Roxie sleeps on my bed, and visiting dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable — whether that’s their own bed, a cosy spot in the bedroom, or another quiet area of the house. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine so they feel secure and at home.
I specialise in day sitting and overnight care for small dogs, including longer stays. My focus is always on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where your dog is treated like part of the family.
