About Catherine
I just love dogs. I have a good size, securely fenced yard and dogs are welcome inside my home and out in the yard. Archie, my own 3-year-old Cairn terrier, loves someone to play with. 'Zoomies' around the yard is one of his favourite things.
I will walk your dog at least twice a day, but taking into account the heat and humidity. Most of our walks are early morning and late afternoon. When the tide is out, we love to walk and splash at our local beach.
When the weather is really hot, there is always an air conditioner on, and there are some nice shady places in the yard too. Dog door access means the furries can decide for themselves where they are most comfortable.
I have a variety of dog beds, or you are welcome to bring your own. Sleeping inside at night is encouraged because we can't always keep the toads away.
I have been minding my friends' dogs for years, and I would be delighted to mind yours. I am particularly fond of terriers!
My own dog is an inside dog, so visiting dogs also need to be happy indoors. Of course, they have free access to the yard, except at night.
We also have a special place in our hearts for older dogs,

We booked our Maltese shitzu in for 5 nights with Catherine. What an amazing woman! My dog was well cared for (too well as he didnt want to come home!)
He had so much fun playing with Archie and has made a new best friend.
