I am Li and I've been in Cairns for 1.5 years. I am a responsible pet sitter and animal lover. I had a golden retriever named Snoopy accompany me growing up for 16 years, I took full responsibility of him during vacations, including feeding, playing, walking etc.
My grandparents also decided to take care of wild cats in their community, I helped them with most of the things as of course I was more energetic than they were.
Since coming to Australia, I’ve occasionally looked after my friends’ cats while they were away. I’ve also taken on various pet sitting requests for different clients in both Sydney and Cairns.
I have extensive experience with pets of various temperaments. If they are energetic and playful, I’m more than happy to hang out with them and play games like fetch or chase. If they are shy or sensitive around a new sitter, I respect their space and gently engage with them until they feel safe enough to approach me.
Please note that I always keep dogs on a leash when outdoors and ensure cats remain indoors, as it's safest for them. The only exception would be if I'm given specific instructions and there's a 100% secure environment, such as a fully fenced yard.
