About Kristie & Catie

Hi. We are a 36 and 29 year old couple looking for animals to love as if they were our own. We are a professional and active duo (cop and nurse) who despite our jobs manage to work regular business hours Monday – Thursday.
We have looked after a variety of pets ranging from lots of dogs, some cats, birds, a rabbit, chickens, fish, Guinea pigs and even a bearded dragon (pics of some of the pets we have looked after are attached).

On top of live in round the clock cuddles and pats, our services also include dog walking and if it’s an active pooch a run or joining us on sprint session at the park should keep them on their paws.

We live in a two bedroom apartment so we would prefer dogs on the smaller side or dogs that are apartment suitable, such as a greyhound and toilet trained. Anxious dogs, chewers or dogs prone to barking would not be suitable for our apartment.

Weekend sits between Thursday evening and Sunday are preferred as we work Monday to Thursday (business hours) and can’t offer sitting during the week. If your pooch is toilet trained, used to being left and doesn’t get vocal or stressed then please enquire.

We are sticklers for pooch car safety so we also supply a safety belt clip for secure travel in our car. If they are social your four legged bestie is welcome to accompany us on a date to some dog friendly venues or come with us to our hockey games!

On a more personal note we are very relaxed, flexible, clean and tidy non-smoking females who share a joint love of animals, cooking, travel, the outdoors, renovating and all things sport.
We are both country girls at heart and grew up surrounded by pets so we understand they are part of the family. So if your looking for a respectful, trustworthy pair who can love your pets while you’re away then please get in touch. Due to one sitter’s allergies we are unable to look after cats. Police checks can also be supplied as well as references of previous sits. Some feedback from our previous madpaws stays are attached to our profile.

If you think we might be a fit, we would be more than happy to meet you and your fur child prior to any potential sit. (We are also a ‘barry bargain’ as we come as two for the price of one, so twice the love and double the attention for your pets)
