We are a dog-loving couple who are happy owners of a very smart and obedient 1.5 yr old male Border Collie named Kami.  We've completed various different training courses (obedience, recall, off leash,  click training, etc) with Kami and try to consistently work on his training - his recall is excellent!  We are now working on more behaviour oriented training.

We use Mad Paws ourselves for the days we can't bring our Kami along, so we understand how important it is to have reliable and responsible people look after our loved pup.  For this reason we thought it would be great to open up our home to others like ourselves, who are looking for someone to look after their furry babies, providing a high degree of care, and at the same time Kami could benefit from the right type of dog socialisation and play.

About our home:
We reside in a single residence home with a large and fully fenced in yard in the southern suburbs.  Our home also sits right next to a reserve, which allows us to have access to walking trails and parks right outside our front door.  Did we mention we also have a pool for the pups to have a swim in on these hot days? Supervised of course :)  


Unfortunately at this time, we are only able to host small and medium well trained dogs - as Kami is afraid of other dogs larger than him.  We also would only ever host 1 dog at a time, and we do not frequent dog parks.

If your pup has basic obedience training, is small in size and would be ok with being with one extra dog at our home, please reach out and we can schedule a meet and greet to see if the dogs would get along :)
