Hi there,
My name is Demi, and I’m currently a 19 year old second year nursing student at Deakin University. I’m reaching out to express my interest in pet sitting, and to share a little about myself and my experience with animals.
I grew up on a farm surrounded by a wide range of animals, horses, cows, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and more so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily life. Being around animals every single day has given me a strong understanding of their needs, behaviours, and personalities, and I genuinely love and respect them with my whole heart.
I’m a very active and caring person who enjoys staying busy. Outside of my studies, I prioritise my health and wellbeing through activities like walking my animals, going to the gym, playing netball, and doing Pilates. I also love socialising and connecting with both people and animals, which helps me build trust quickly and create a comfortable, positive environment.
As a nursing student, I am responsible, attentive, and highly aware of safety and care needs, qualities I bring into everything I do, including looking after pets. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply providing companionship, I will treat your pets as if they were my own.
I would love the opportunity to help care for your animals and ensure they feel happy, safe, and well looked after while you’re away.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
Demi
