Sarah and I are two cat loving professionals who work from home and would love to welcome your feline bestie to come and vacay with us 😊

We've set up the master bedroom in our quiet, peaceful home as a cat sanctuary, with a huge comfy couch (complete with heated blanket to stay warm on chilly days!), enclosed sunny balcony complete with catnip and cat grass (as well as some other cat-safe plants), and plenty of space for them to zoom around. The room comes with a selection of perching/ hiding/ snuggling spots, but you are more than welcome to bring their favourite scratching post and other items. We will be delighted to spoil them with all the cuddles and attention they need during their stay with us.

We do have a resident dog and cat of our own, but Shadow (my dog) can't climb the stairs, and Bonnie is a scaredy cat and just likes to hide in Sarah’s room (with the door closed) so your little one probably won't even realise our own pets are there. If you've got more than one cat, the space is huge and we are very happy to look after your whole kitty family.

Just going away for the weekend? We also offer daily pet check-ins (feed, water/ litter change, cuddles/ playtime plus plant watering if required) on weekends (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday plus public holidays) in the Chippendale/ Darlington/ Redfern (west of Elizabeth Street) area. We can do twice-daily check ins (morning and evening or as required) for an extra 10$ per visit per day - let us know if you need this and we can manually update our fee 😸

We are new to mad paws but both very experienced pet carers, having fostered and shared our lives with a variety of critters from all walks of life over the years, and are more than happy to accomodate any medical or behavioural needs your little person might have - including both oral and subcutaneous (injected under the skin with a needle) medications administration. We have both received training in positive behaviour training and reinforcement, and we have a healthy respect and understanding of kitty boundaries - your cat will get plenty of treats, playing and cuddles (if they want them!) with us 😊...

Cancellation: Moderate

A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until 7 days before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.
