Hi, nice to meet you! 
My name is Sylvia, and I’m a student at the University of Sydney 

I’m a friendly, caring person who truly loves animals 💕. I’ve grown up surrounded by them and have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. Back home in China, my family has a sweet and gentle cat 🐾, as well as three lively parrots 🦜 (in different households!). I was involved in every part of their care — feeding, cleaning, playing, and making sure they felt loved and secure. These memories shaped my deep affection for animals and taught me how important it is to be patient, observant, and kind when looking after them.

Now I live in Chippendale, Sydney NSW 🏙️. As an international student, I chose not to have a pet here in Sydney — because I know that truly loving an animal means thinking about their long-term wellbeing. Since I may leave Australia after graduation, I believe it would be unfair to give a pet a temporary home. Even though I miss being around animals every day, I’d rather care for other people’s pets with the same love and responsibility rather than adopt one I can't promise a lifelong home to.

If you let me care for your pet, I’ll treat them like family 🫶 — with love, patience, and full attention to their needs. Whether it’s playtime, mealtime, or just quiet companionship, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and cherished. 

I also have great stamina for dog walking — I used to be on my university's badminton team, so I’m very comfortable with longer or more active walks too! 🏸

I’m responsible, gentle, and happy to follow any specific care instructions or routines your pet is used to ✅. I know how important consistency is for animals. I also understand that each pet has its own personality  and I enjoy taking the time to get to know them for who they are. It's a joy for me to earn their trust.
