Hello! I've just recently graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor in Animal Health. I love animals and I've been with animals all my life! I used to work in a Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Technician and I'm confident in medicating and taking care of most companion animals! I live with my partner and our little Westhighland x Poodle, Snowdy! Snowdy was born in 2017 and have been with us ever since, he is friendly with dogs and cats and loves to share his toys with everyone that comes over! If you're looking for a walk, I do walk Snowdy and your dog together so that they can have a little play time together.
I currently live in an apartment, therefore only able to daycare small breeds of dogs. As my unit is carpeted, I would only be able to take in dogs that are toilet trained. I do offer training pads if your dog requires, please do not hesitate to mention that during your dog's visit or if your dogs requires to go outdoor to do their buisness, I will be able to bring them down to relieve themselves. I do understand that accidents can happen from time to time, but please be very honest with your dog's behaviour during booking. Additionally, I won't be able to take in puppys for day care too. Daycare's rates are not inclusive of walks. Walks can be included at an additional charge of $5. If you're opting for daycare, all you'll need to bring along is your dog's leash! We have tons of toys for them to share. Daycare timings are usually drop off at 830am and pick up at 0530pm. After-hours daycare timings are 0500pm-1100pm at an additional of $10.
I would appreciate a meet and greet session with the dogs and yourself before we go ahead with the booking. Meet and greet is free and we will have the opportunity to get to know each other including the dogs. Meet and greet for daycare will usually be held in my place so that you can have a piece of mind when your dog comes over. On top of that, it will be great for your dog to have the chance to get to know the new environment! However, if you're comfortable with somewhere else, I'll be more than happy to accomodate.
Walks are normally 30mins! I would be happy to either walk your dog around a preferred route you have or just go to a nearby park of your choice. I will only be able to have your dog off lead if we're in a fenced area and I feel comfortable/confident with having your dog off lead. If a 30 mins walk might be too much for your dog, there's not an issue with cutting down the time we spend outdoors, I'll be able to compensate for the remaining time by just playing/cuddling indoors with your dogs. Snowdy usually go on walks, but, if your dog is not dog friendly, please do mention before booking so that I don't bring him along.
I would appreciate a meet and greet session with the dogs and yourself before we go ahead with the booking. Meet and greet is free and we will have the opportunity to get to know each other including the dogs. Meet and greet for dogwalks are normally at your place so that I can get to know about your estate and you can walk me through the routes/ things you would want me to look out for during my visit. I will bring Snowdy along for the meet and greet to ensure that the dogs get along during the walks.
Please let me know beforehand any medication or allergies (food, environment etc) that your pet may have. It would be helpful to provide any medical history as well. I would also love to get to know if your dogs have any habits or quirks that I should know of when they are under my care.
