Hii, I am Georgia from Manchester, United Kingdom and my partner Tim is from the Netherlands. We have been in Australia since July last year, but have been travelling since September 2022 and in this time we have really missed our pets at home and having the presence of animals around us. So, I thought a great alternative would be to care for other people’s pets. During our time in regional Queensland, we pet sat for a few families. We regularly pet sat and overnight stayed on a small farm, where we looked after their two dogs, chickens, cows and horses. As well as this at the start of our travels, we also worked on a farm ourselves and often took care of the family’s two dachshunds. After our experiences here, we have realised how much fun it is.

I myself have grown up with cats and dogs, specifically St Bernard dogs, so I am eager to look after animals big and small. My partner Tim has also grown up with dogs, and rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and birds too, including his sister having a grooming salon in their house. Between us we have a lot of experience in caring for these animals. We have a great passion for the unconditional love that animals give to us! Because of this, we are not interested in taking a lot of money for our services, as we see it as mutually beneficial and would enjoy to do it anyway. 

In terms of our availability. I work from home every day except Wednesdays, and my work is flexible so I can work wherever and at any time. Tim is currently out of work at the moment, so he is available all week. We are also free over the weekends and would be more than happy to help wherever we can. 

We live on the second floor (out of three floors) of an apartment block in Coogee. We are a few minutes walk to the beach, as well we have a large fenced grassy area in our apartment complex. Our flat is spacious and we have a fenced tall wrap around balcony. I am more than happy to send some pictures too.
