About Tara

Hi I'm Tara,

I'm a cert III Animal Studies accredited animal sitter who has had a wide range of experience looking after all types of animals small and large . I also did a year of placement in a vet clinic with my course and looked after many dogs, cats and the occasional native animal, pre and post op keeping them happy and comfortable. I also learnt grooming and administering of medication skills there.
I grew up with a dog and often look after my grandmother's pup and my own dog, fish, rodents and chooks.
I love all animals and strive to provide the best care possible treating each as my own and giving them love, interaction and comfort at the highest level possible. I am also comfortable looking after any type of animal. I have a reliable car so am happy to travel to anywhere around Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and possibly Maitland. Unfortunately I am unable to host animals in my place overnight but am happy to housesit.

I am also able to tend/water gardens as (I love to garden and have a lot of experience!) and feed outdoor fish
