About me:
My name is Eve, I have previous experience as a veterinary nurse and currently reside at a vet clinic and enigma shelter in keysborough.
I have completed my Cert 2 in Animal Studies & Cert 4 in Vet Nursing (reception skills set) &amp, i have been in the animal industry my whole working life since finishing school, I have fostered and rescued dogs, cats and small animals for the past 8 years and have throughly enjoyed meeting new fur-babies and giving them the care and attention they need and deserve. I particularly love dogs and take pride in caring for them while their owners are away.
About my services:
I offer around the clock care of your pets in my own home, when I work they can come with me so I can always know they are safe.
Dogs will be walked daily by myself, a confident and capable handler with years of experience.
While I mainly care for dogs, I have worked in cat and rabbits rescue for the many years and am more than comfortable and capable in taking small and exotic animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice & birds (parrots, small birds, chooks etc).
My skills:
Due to working in a vet clinic, I will always have access to a veterinarian in the unlikely event of a accident or illness.
I am confident and capable of administering any medications your pet may have ongoing, wether that be oral or injectable I can take care of it.
I also have years of experience with dogs with mental illnesses, anxiety issues are my forte and I have pup-sat a number of dogs with such ailments with huge success.
I like to take my time when meeting a new dog friend and owner, it works out best for everyone if we meet at least once before the time of the pet sitting so we can all be on the same page and know everyone gets along and is comfortable in every way.
My home:
I currently live in a decent sized 4 berdroomed house with a medium sized yard, perfect for play times in the sun. I am in Cranbourne.
I currently live with my mum (guess where I got my love of animals from), my partner & our son who was born June 2019 and of course I can't leave out our gorgeous little Kelpie Fly & Chihuahua mix Seymour who have loved having the company of other dogs, they are good with other animals but are kept seperate from 'small pets' who will have their room to live in during their stay for their own happiness & safety....
