I grew up on a farm, riding horses and have always had a dog and cats sometimes, chooks in the yard too. We lost our family dog a year ago and miss having that connection very much. It was the saddest day of my life.
I'm not able to have animals at our home but one day we will be able to move into our own home again and then I'll be getting a family dog again. The love of an animal can't be had by anything else. It's unconditional and I want to be able to be that person who brings love into their home whilst their owners are away and look after them just like they do.
