About Cherie
** I am fully vaccinated against Covid19**

I LOVE spending time with animals - animal care and training is a passion for me as well as a career - I have extensive experience as a full time professional dog trainer, including in behaviour modification, please see below for further details.

I am happy to work with any pet including those with behavioural challenges or special health needs. I am especially experienced with puppies and adolescent dogs and would relish any training challenges you might need help with.

I love animals of all types, whether they are furred, feathered or scaled and have had many of my own pets in the past including goats, rats, chickens, birds, cats and dogs. Please get in touch, I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet/s 🙂

PLEASE NOTE: we only offer hosting (pet sitting/day care at our home) to existing clients and availability for this is based heavily on the suitability of your dog to our lifestyle in order to best meet the needs of your pet. Our fencing is 1.2m at the lowest point so not suitable for med/large dogs who may attempt to jump.

HOME VISITS - 60mins unless otherwise arranged (base rate for cats, pocket pets, birds and low maintenance dogs, please contact for other rates)

TRAINING SESSION - 60 minutes or 90 minutes; post-session feedback, training notes and email/phone support included; Please note the base rate does not include travel, dependent on your location the price may be higher due to travel time. I generally recommend a 90minute initial session depending on the behaviours you are looking to address and the age of your dog.
45 minute maintenance sessions where the owner is not present are also available for existing clients. At least 1 training session with owner present, as per above, is required before commencement of these sessions.

PET TRANSPORT - Base rate of $8 depending on distance to be travelled. Some travel during home visits may be included in session price.

I have extensive experience caring for and training a wide variety of animals within the animal care, welfare and assistance dog industries. I have also been involved as a volunteer in community dog training, rescue and welfare organisations for many years.
