Hi everyone!
My name is Ash Karcher and I’m available for both hosting and overnight doggie/puppy sitting!
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Sustainability at UTS, but I’m about to have four months off and what better way to spend that time than with more furry friends?
I’ve been dog sitting for over six years outside of Mad Paws, mostly around the Belrose and Davidson area. My experience ranges from caring for big Labradors to tiny Cavoodle puppies, and I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I also have experience with stronger and more unpredictable dogs, including rescues, and I’m very mindful of their unique needs.
At home, I have my own furry companion called Tahli, a boisterous Bordoodle who I raised from a puppy six years ago. She’s emotionally intuitive, super friendly, very active (she needs at least three walks a day!), and honestly too smart for her own good. We call her a furry human because she seems to understand English and pay more attention to what's going on better than some people in the house! She’s also a bit cheeky—sneaking human food and somehow convincing us to let her sleep in our beds.
I mention Tahli because she reflects the way I approach pet sitting. Dogs are part of the family and deserve nothing but the best care. When other pups come to stay, I give them the same love and attention—though Tahli might get a little jealous sometimes!
